RIEDU (pronounced “re-do”) is a Windows based back-office accounting application for managing your price-book.
RIEDU is designed specifically for communicating directly with today’s state-of the-art POS systems.
Remote - RIEDU interfaces directly with your POS eliminating the need to make changes directly on the POS server.
Import - RIEDU will connect and read the configuration and daily sales information directly from your POS Server.
Export - RIEDU will send all price book changes to the POS Server for immediate or scheduled use.
Data - All information is stored in RIEDU’s database on your back-office PC for easy reference.
Utility - RIEDU is a set of utilities to manage the more tedious tasks for maintaining a price book on your POS Server.

Connecting to YOUR POS SYSTEM
RIEDU supports several POS system configurations, including: Dresser-Wayne Nucleus™, Gilbarco G-Site™ and Passport™ POS systems.
Existing POS systems:
By direct connection to the POS system RIEDU can read the existing departments,
fuels, and PLU and UPC product items directly from the POS, eliminating the
need to perform arduous setup procedures.
New POS systems
For new POS systems, an existing configuration can be sent to the POS from
RIEDU or built manually utilizing Riedu’s extensive set of tools to build a
your price-book and create customized price group and departments.
Cable connection between the BOS and POS may require additional setup and administrative assistance to establish communications. Please contact Cycon Systems for further details and assistance.
Manage multiple stores
One of Riedu’s special features is the ability to manage multiple stores. This enables market groups to maintain a master price-book and send item price updates to each individual store. This ensures consistency and accuracy over the entire market.
Unique “Event driven” user INTERFACE
The RIEDU user interface appears as a tabbed notebook. Each page of the notebook is linked to all other related pages, maintaining continuity as you “flip” between pages.
RIEDU will never return error messages telling you “option not available”, common with other similar applications. By monitoring all connected data sources, options are only offered when applicable data becomes available, providing an “event driven” interface that is truly intuitive and time saving.
The user interface is completely configurable, making it flexible for beginners as well as advanced users. All settings are “remembered” between sessions.

Price-book views are available by group or department. Each contains a set of tools for organizing and categorizing each individual item. The entire database is maintained internally and requires no knowledge of database management.
Built in queries provide quick sorting, filtering, ranges and search capabilities either by product-code or by name.
Price Changes are extremely easy to manage using RIEDU’s unique price grouping. All prices within a group can be all changed to the same price or incrementally up or down by any amount.
Price Group management tools provide a simple means to move and arrange like items into price groups by brand or product code.
Reports of are generated on demand for the current business day, month and year. A full set of sales history reporting tools are available.
Scheduler provides methods for sending price changes to the POS at predetermined time and date.
Inventory Manager monitors daily sales maintaining accurate inventory controls and order generation.
Vendor Orders can be auto-generated based on current inventory levels. EDI order transmissions are also available.
Address Book entries are linked categorized by vendor, employees, customers and other stores.
Employee Scheduler is also available.
